Murphy's law in action.

So, I have this lucky lighter from my days in boarding school and it has a photograph on it of a bear about to eat a wild salmon as it swims upstream. The lighter is my lucky lighter, because superstitiously I believe the situational irony of the lighter's graphic offsets the ever present effect of Murphy's law on my life. The lighter is starting to run low on fluid, so in order to immortalize it, I drew this comic. I had to add the fish's thought because sometimes in my life, I feel like the fish and that's what I would say. And sometimes I feel like the big, shit grinning bear snapping my jaws at life.

Totally Verbose

This strip was based off an inside joke, so it requires some back story. Anyone that knows me, knows one of my catch phrases is "totally." I don't say it in that annoying valley girl voice, but I do say it OFTEN. I sometimes infect people with my catch phrases. One of my friends Natalia
and I say totally to each other in conversation all the time. We also have a VERY annoying habit of talking a lot when in each other's company, so if you don't speak up, you either end up falling asleep, totally (ah! there it is!) bored, or completely pissed off. These 3 places are actual depictions of people and places we were when this sort of thing has happened. Guess who!

Norm and Gus Strike again...

In high school, my best friend Jessica and I told each other what our boobs were named. I will spare you her ladies names, but mine are Norm and Gus. Short for Enormous and Humongous. Get it? Yeah, I know, I'm equally mature as I am clever. Anyway, "the boys" are often getting me into affairs of mischief, awkward situations, or painful accidents. This comic was a little spin off on what usually happens when I catch people staring at them. Not uncommon I might add.

Hot Girls For Life Club

My friend Jeremy and I have this theory that some people are just hot. Especially some girls. They have what is called a lifetime membership to "The Hot Girls for Life Club." Those that fall into this category are often friends with, or are surrounded by equally hot, if not hotter people. Knowing these kinds of people can work out in your benefit, provided you can get past the momentary attraction to them! This strip was a little one I worked up about what it's like to initially befriend one of these aforementioned hot folks!
